…I’m still reading “Stepping out of Line …” by Nell Merlino (Creator of Take Our Daughters To Work Day” and it’s making me cry…
Great lessons about taking action! She covers so much in her book. Right now I’m reading a section about love/relationships and how girls are told to wait for love but never how to find/select the right partner.
…sitting around “waiting” really is old-school thinking, and not even the most “independent/strong” women realize it. If you take action in every aspect of your life, why do you continue to “wait” for the right one to come along?

Like Stacey Dash, Eva Menedes is over 30 & proving that age is just a number.
Everyday I see happy, healthy, vivacious, sexy, & confident women over the age of 30. Unfortunately, media would lead/leave us to believe that only women who look like they haven’t reached puberty are attractive & desirable.
Being a woman between the ages of 30 & 50 isn’t easy. We’re either too old to be sexy or too young to have any wisdom.
Consider This: commercials/movies/books use 30 & under women to sell the idea of sexy, happiness, etc. They use women over 50 to sell the idea of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, & sexy (via viagra like ads). 30-50 year old women are cast as confused, bitter, unhappily single, & confused.
I don’t know about you but, my friends (myself included) are happy, sexy, & comfortable in the skin we’re in! Not one of us would go back to our 20s, nor would we fast forward to our 50s.
I write this for all 30-50 year old women - find YOUR MoJo! Embrace you. Don’t let anyone make you feel like you’re not good enough.
